This is one of Canva’s most useful additions before it makes the application workplace-friendly. Prior to this function, it was difficult to share progress with the rest of your teams and you would have to save and send multiple drafts. This new addition makes Canva the perfect platform for your brands next graphic design necessities.

5) “Your brand” feature

The “your brand” feature can be very useful for smaller business that don’t have the resources to pay someone to design logos or do their digital branding for them. You’ll be able to create your own logos from templates or upload any current logos you have and edit them with their tools.

With this feature,  you can keep track of how the visual appearance of your brand changes over time. There is a category for each important aspect of a brand guideline - color palettes, logos, fonts, and you can search for inspiration within each of these categories in the upper right corner of each section.

It is inevitable that each brand changes with your time, and with this section of the website you can see the evolution of your visual branding efforts in a very clear manner.

Using Canva in your media strategy

With the wide array of features that Canva has to offer, there is no question that this tool can be incorporated into your media strategy. One major benefit of doing so is that by using one platform to create all your materials, any visual content you produce will look cohesive. Just make sure to establish branding guidelines with your team (such as color, fonts, and general style), and after that Canva makes things easy. You can have all of this information housed on one website for your entire team to be able to access, as we mentioned with the “Your brand” feature.

That being said, if you don’t know where to even start with your media strategy, Canva is helpful with that too. Instead of starting with a blank slate on Photoshop, you can look at multiple templates to see what you like and what styles you would like to mimic.
